Kangana Ranaut is a popular bollywood actress. She is mainly recognized for her performance in movies like Gangster, Fashion and Queen. Kangana has made her acting debut with movie Gangster in 2006. Biography
Kangana was born on 23 March, 1987 into a Hindi-speaking Rajput family. She was a topper as she used to study 18 hours a day. She said "The science in school didn't help me much in my daily life as an adult. But the passion to be the best in my class and the love for books remain. Now I'm an artiste and I read on art." She is also a trained Kathak dancer and loves doing yoga.

Boyfriend/Marriage
Kangana earlier was in news for her relationship with Aditya Chopra and then Shekhar Suman's son Adhyayan Suman. After that Ranaut came out in the open about her relationship with UK-based doctor Nicholas Lafferty. But according to the latest reports, the 'Queen' of Bollywood Kangana is dating 'Kites' actress Barbara Mori's brother Kintaro Mori.

Kangana has no plans for marriage as she is busy with other priorities in life. She said, "I have no plans for marriage and I like to be alone. There are other things in my life which are my priorities. Marriage is about companionship and commitment but I have no plans. I want someone who is not very materialistic. He should be very overtly ambitious, but also a chilledout person like me."

In Hansal Mehta's next
Kangana will reportedly play the role of Sarabjit's sister in Hansal Mehta's upcoming film. The film will revolves around her struggle to get Sarabjit back from Pakistan. Kangana said, "The role spans 16-46 years and is a challenge in itself. I myself share a really close bond with my siblings. Rangoli is around four years older than me but there's just a gap of a year-and-a-half between me and my younger brother who is a pilot. We've grown up eating from each other's plates so I can completely empathise with the relationship Dalbir and Sarabjit shared."

Kangana has been finalised for the main lead opposite Imran Khan in Nikhil Advani's next, Katti Batti. Katti Batti is a naughty love story. Imran and Kangana together do make for a rather unique pair.

Sister Rangoli
Kangana's sister Rangoli has suffered from serious burn injuries where a man threw acid on her at her residence in Doon valley. Rangoli was the final year student of M.Sc microbiology at that time. This was the first ever case of acid attack in Dehradun.

Rangoli suffered injuries on her face and arms, and the acid harmed her eyes too.

Education
Kangana was brought up in Dehradun and studied in DAV's High School, where she participated in many debates, Elocutions, and was a basket-ball player. Kangana attended Science College in Simla. After a few months of college, she was driven to Delhi to become a model and accompanied the Elite Modelling Agency in 2003. Kangana may have dropped out of college to pursue her dream of acting but the actress is now making up for it. Ms. Ranaut has joined New York Film Academy where she has taken up a two month course to learn screenplay writing.

Career
Ranaut has started her career as a theatre artist in Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group. She trained under eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur. She participated in his theatre workshop at India Habitat Centre and acted in several plays. Her first play with Arvind Gaur was Girish Karnad's Taledanda (Rakt-Kalyan). Ranaut joined Asha Chandra's course in 2004 to brush herself to face the camera. In 2005, luck hit her with the movie "Gangster", which stood at success on box office. Apart from bollywood, Kangna also stepped into a telugu film Ek Niranjana, where she proved her acting skills.
